Golden  Tortoise  Beadle 

Found this in my garden this morning.  I've never seen one before.  It looks like a drop of shiny gold on the leaf.  It was eating holes in my morning glory leaf.  I noticed after catching it in a clear sandwich bag, it changes colors.  It turned a sparkly pink and then a silver sparkle, then back to gold.
