Geese At Sunset Guilford Lake State Park May 2020

One of the photos I took here is of a mama goose and her goslings.  There was one gosling that stuck close to his mama, but the rest of them somehow fell behind and had to catch up with her.  The photo was taken early in the afternoon, while we were fishing.

We were singing praise to the Lord and our grandchildren sang along with us.  We sang to them because they were restless and they became joyful as we sang the Halalu, Praise ye the Lord song.
It was after we sang that we noticed a gathering of geese surrounding us.

The photos of the Canadian geese were taken at the end of a lovely
sunset.  The geese became silhouettes upon a lit reflection of the sunset. There was a huge gathering of geese a beautiful sight.  This was a sight that I had never seen before, though I have seen geese in large gatherings many times.

They were quacking and honking happily all around.  Hundreds of them passed by us at sunset.
