Psalms 23:1-6 

The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.  

He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.

 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over. 

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Father God,

 I pray for those  that are grieving today, over the death of a (loved one, a friend, an assistant, or a pet.)  I pray that you will comfort them and heal their broken hearts.  Help us know what words to say and how we could exemplify your love to them.   I pray they would look to you for their healing and strength.  Guard their hearts from falling away from you at this vulnerable time of grief.  I pray your hand of mercy be upon them as they live and heal day to day.  Guide them in the direction of the next steps in life.  I just pray those steps lead them into a deeper relationship with you.

In Christ's name, I pray this.  Amen

Thank you, Christ Jesus.

Father God, In the Name of Christ, I pray for the families

by name today. I pray that you will lead in their lives as they make decisions

about how to raise their children.  How to love each other.  Provide their physical needs.

Provide a vehicle, a home, an increase on thier job, whatever the need may be. 

Help them find a Bible-believing church, one that pleases you, Lord.  I pray they would seek to please you in all their choices by asking and acknowledging you, before making a decision. I ask your blessing upon them, their children, and their marriage. 

Thank -you Lord Jesus.

Father God, I come before you in the name Christ Jesus our Lord, 

I pray for those who have seemingly incurable health issues.

I pray you will help them each day when they struggle with discouragement, pain, or limitations put upon them because of their physical problem. I pray for their healing.  I pray for breakthroughs

in finding cures for their specific problem.  I have mentioned their names to you Father, and ask you will bless them today with the strength to go on.  Faith, that they know joy even through their difficulties.
