I was able to focus on the crane as it flew around us. It has amazing beautiful wings. I have more photos of this crane,  continuing this group of photos on the next post.   They sold the house we were staying in, so we will not be back unless things change.  We will miss you Guilford Lake. We've gone to Guilford Lake for six years. Today the Mallard flew across the pond.  Something was irritating him, It was like something was biting him.  He was scratching like a cat behind the ear with his webbed foot.  He suddenly went completely under the water as though something pulled him under.  Then came up flying across the pond. It was still driving him crazy and finally he seemed okay and climbed onto this log. I think His wings will be ready for take off soon.
